I'll just list sites I have found useful and would therefore vouch for. There's plenty plenty more good sites out there. Travel would be somewhat more difficult if it weren't for t'internet.

General travel

www.couchsurfing.com - Meet fascinating, local people, pay nothing for a roof over your head. What's not to like?

www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree - The renound guidebook publishers also lay claim to THE travel forum.

Turkey

www.turkeytravelplanner.com - Useful for anyone who intends to visit Turkey. From package holiday maker to TEFLer to anything beyond, in between, above and slightly to the left.

www.bugday.org/tatuta/index.php?lang=EN - The Turkish version of WWOOF is really a project in itself, called TaTuTa. Its run by a Turkish volunteer organisation called Gençtur (www.gençtur.com). If you're interested you should email Gençtur. I faield to get a response from the email address and telephone number given on the bugday website. If you have any problems or questions please get in touch.

Turkish Language

www.turkishclass.com - Lots of well-put-together lessons, a really active forum. Brill. There are other Turkish language websites out there however, I just haven't had a chance to check them out so far.

Blogs

www.me-go.net/rtw - It might not surprise you to know that Megan's site is probably the greatest reason I decided to make my own. Her site is really brill and she has a great attitude towards travel.

www.travelblog.org/Bloggers/jockc - Schoolmate Jimmy Coatsworth's blog of travels in New Zealand and South America are also well worth a look.

Photography

www.richlacey.com - Rich is a talented photographer amongst many other things and his gallery is well worth a look.

I'm such a technonoob and (former) workmate Rich has been a great help with this website. He's one of those rare beings who understands the finer points of all things computers AND can explain them in words us laypeople can comprehend. Not only that but our banter really helped me survive the few months I had to endure in Lakeland Limited's warehouse. More than worthy of a link.
